The First Question is...

When you start to feel discouraged as a mother what are some things that help you keep a positive attitude?

  1. I try to take a step back from the busy life and take a day or sometime to just sit and play, talk or do an activity with my child or children. It really helps to just live in that moment and truly enjoy them in every way. I forget about the dirty dishes the unanswered emails the piles of laundry and truly try to enjoy my kids. I'm not saying that it's always easy to do. But I try. Great Blog Idea! Luv it.

  2. Im so glad you started this!!! First off Mt. Dew... is that ok? For some reason it really does help! Know really for me its thinking back on my childhood memories and how my mom was and also looking at pictures of my kids on happy days, birthday, swimming days, family days things like that.

  3. Well . . . besides trying to "laugh it off", I sometimes spread a blanket out in the yard and sit and do nothing but watch my kids play and stare at the sky. My house might be an absolute mess, I might look like an absolute mess, but it really helps. And of course . . . PRAY!

  4. First I take a deep breath and remember that I need to shpw them patience if I want them to learn paitence and kindness. With six kids its easy for things to get loud and crazy fast, so every once in a while I just drop everything and tell everyone to get in the car for a treat run. It gives me a chance to get out of the house and get the kids refocused on something else.
