Laundry
Since having my 4th child I have struggled to keep up on laundry...can you tell me what ideas you have to help?
Laundry...it's never ending with kids!!! One thing that I do at my house is sort all my laundry at night, after everyone has showered/bathed, so that in the morning I can just start washing. Also, I don't know if this is a good thing, but I never "wait" for a full load. I start with the big loads (darks, whites, levi's, towels) the work my way down to the smaller ones (specific colors). I dont' mind that if at the end of the day I still have a few little loads that carry over to the next day. It's the big ugly piles I hate to leave cause it seems like I never catch up if I do :)
I have tried so many different ways to accomplish this one goal, and different things have worked at different times depending on what is going on in my life. Right now I like to do 1 or 2 loads first thing in the morning (like right as I get out of bed I start the first load). This way the first load is usually done and put away right after the kids get off to school and I don't have to think about it for the rest of the day.

ReplyDeleteI try to do at least one load a day. It's not much but then I don't get overwhelmed!
